Project: Homemade flag banner....

We are hosting a *surprise* birthday party in a couple of weeks, and I really wanted to make some fun homemade decorations. So I spent the majority of yesterday morning and early afternoon working on this little project. And the best part is that it can double as a decoration for the bridal shower I will be hosting in April. I made sure to use the wedding colors so that it would work for both parties. Go me! :) In any case... this is how the project went... 

{First, I cut triangles out of folded pieces of newspaper}

{then I lined the inside with pieces of scrap cardstock}

{then I added more cardstock to the front and glued the letters to each triangle}

{then I folded each triangle over a piece of string and then glued them down}

{...and voila. The finished product...}
