The gardens are situated on a bluff on the East bank of the Hudson River overlooking the West Point Military Academy. So imagine the view during the wedding ceremony...stunning. The whole thing was incredibly personal and romantic...and included love letters that they had written to each other over the course of their relationship. The bride and groom looked absolutely beautiful and blissfully happy.
I was honored to be asked to play the guitar and sing during the ceremony. I could have sworn I screwed up some of the chords...but many have reassured me it sounded great. whew. and I did make the bride and groom cry...so..mission accomplished :)
The programs sure came in handy...it was a hot day.
Off to the reception tent...
...greeted by a wishing tree with place cards.
The place cards were made by Phil out of wood from our land...and
the little envelopes contained menu cards and tickets made
by Becky for the wishing tree and photo booth (which was their
camera set up with a background and fun costumes)
The big entrance...straight into the first dance...
A beautiful weekend...a beautiful wedding...for a beautiful couple.
Wow, that is an amazing wedding! I only wish I could have something like this.
